The Importance of Writing

Therapy was part of the process, but a lot later. It's only sort of really cut in in my, you know, kind of in my mid 40s. But I think the writing was an important thing to do because one of the things that it's the worst thing to do in these schools is to tell on your friend. And then if you write a book about this,you know, that is 250 pages of sneak and it feels very liberating to have done that.
