The Benefits of Ketamine for Pain Relief

Ketamine has traditionally been used in veterinary and human medicine as an anesthetic but we're using a much lower dose that would not police the date someone. Because it is used IV we can use it in patients that can't take anything right now there's some relative contraindications active psychosis is the number one reason why you should not start it. GABA pentanoids do not work on GABA receptors they work on calcium channels and decrease neuronal activity in nociceptor pain pathways.
