How to Divorce Intelligence From Consciousness
A person is inherently a creative entity inherently unpredictable and so any system that is in theory like us only better is going to share that character as well. We should want to be able to anticipate what these systems are going to do not really if indeed these systems become super intelligent by the measure of being smarter than us then we are definitely going to be unable to anticipate its behavior, choices and so forth. A misunderstanding of creativity creates knowledge of ideas you can't anticipate it ahead of time or predict how species will evolve over time - evolution is blind now creativity is not quite blind right but the creative part of it is still there.
