We are both created in the image of god, after all. And more than just avoiding violence, i need to take positive responsibility to preserve your life as if it were my own. We need to see the end of genesis chapter nine, with this strange story about noah and his son ham. There seem to be two elements here, at least two main questions. Number one, what had ham done wrong? What's up with the seeing his father's nakedness? And then second, why was canaan cursed? And what does that curse consist of?"
