How to Find the Reddest Red Smudges in Our Milky Way

We have two things in our universe that really work to our advantage. The more distant galaxies are the most reddest. And so when we look far away, we are actually looking into our past. What was our milky way like over 13 million years ago? It would be a tiny little smudge,. probably even fainter than the one we're looking at. This one we saw is pretty massive. For so early it probably to day sides in some of the most massive galaxies in the nearby universe.
