The Effect of Forgiveness on the Interpersonal Relationship

Some research has argued that forgiveness, which repairs the interpersonal relationship, doesn't always lead you to be victimized again. A recent study involved a thousand people doing an online experiment on this platform called Amazon Emterk. Participants receive very strong negative feedback on their own essay from one of the three participants. They are then matched with the person that gave them the negative feedback and given an apology.
