The Complexity of Particle Collision

The physics that describes what happens when particles collide is immensely complex. The first major step in simplifying the mathematics of particle collisions happened over 60 years ago. Richard Feynman developed what became known as Feynman diagrams. These diagrams are really just highly stylized doodling.
