The Power of Illness
In the catechism, very often illness provokes a search for God and return to him. It can also help a person discern in their life what is not essential so they can turn to that which is. And I've seen this so often that people just, oh, I realize life's not about me. They turn to love the people around them. They turned to the Lord.
