Rishisunak felt like he needed to grip the issue of higher inflation. But there's a difference between actively reducing inflation and not doing anything to add to it, right? He didn't really talk about halving inflation by the end of the year so much as reducing it. So is he shifting the goalposts? Yeah, absolutely.
