The Dual Face of the Unconscious

There's a real powerful understanding in archaic peoples that's far superior to ours today. Most of these scholars had very little psychological insight whatsoever. And they certainly had no Jungian insight. It really takes a sense of what Jung would talk about as sort of the dual, the dual face of the unconscious to make sense of that. There are basically three different possibilities for what you do with the sacrificial victim or animal in one of these sacrifices.
