Central Bank Digital Currency - Is That a Good Thing?
I think what's perhaps different right now is it seemed, well, at least when I wrote the book, was that with the introduction of central bank digital currencies and so on, it looks like we're going to be getting rid of that kind of liquidation. That money has no corrective mechanism. It just produces inflation and then it doesn't produce the boom and bust cycle that leads to liquidations that corrects it. The Federal Reserve knows where their bread is buttered and the bread is but Butter in the interest of the large banks and financial institutions and they want low interest rates, so they're going to keep getting them.
