Andrea Leininger has an intuitive sense that this is the person who has been reincarnated through her son. Bruce discovers that Houston's plane was shot down by the Japanese in exactly the manner described by his son. According to old flight path records, it turns out that Jack Larson was flying in the plane right beside Houston's when he died. And he also learns that three squadron mates of Houston's who had been killed before him were named Billy Peeler, Walter Devlin, and Leon Connor.
