And if we do, we have the promise of peace; when we don't, we've got the promise of alone. There's a great quote by Joseph Smith in the Joseph Smith Papers that's the power of this union and oneness. The nearer we get to our heavenly father, the more we are disposed to look with compassion on perishing souls.
