The war in Ukraine has been going on now for close to one and a half years. Estonian politics or Estonia took a pretty hard line stance right after the war broke. A sizable part of that minority, especially these people who are living in northeastern part of the country have been traditionally following the Russian media. The ethnic Russian minority becomes important because they live in the media sphere of the aggressor country. And that causes a political problem.
