Radiology is the study of images and making diagnoses based on images. There are four main imaging modalities: ultrasound, x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. We use images or real time X-ray ultrasound or CT to guide whatever procedure we're doing. Patients that can't go through a surgery might divert their gallbladder and have it drain outside.
