The Importance of Morality in the Gospels
Serene Jones is president and Johnson family professor for religion and democracy at Union Theological Seminary in New York. She's literally committing that ancient heresy of docitism, which was one of the first that the early church dealt with when they condemned it. And then also what you see is a re-emphasizing of a kind of morality where Jesus doesn't become you know the Paschal Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world but he becomes sort of this moral example we ought to follow.
