When when you lose that balance, that's when children disengage. We have to be very clear about the way we might use language. Anda language as a means of guiding behavior, or influencing both good and bad,. is so important that we do have to be extremely skilled. If in doubt, say now, because that stops you doing it and just blurting it out. But gives you also then time to think about how you are going to intervene. Rather than spending all your time just putting noise into space... deciding how you intervene is quite an interesting thing.
