accessibility is something huge, but it's something that most people like me don't ever think about because we don't have to usually make apps for people who need the accessibility. IONIQ has done a good job of doing cross platform wrappers for some APIs. One of the big problems is that the web views, Apple and Google limit the web views to not include all of the webAPI that they support in an actual browser. So if they actually supported the full range of web API that they do in a regular browser, I think a lot of that experience would be really different using those kinds of hybrid apps.
