What Have We Learned About Alliances?
This is going to be a very interesting test of that. I think, during the Cold War, the Soviet Union and China were divided by the same ideology. In this case, Russia and China are united by an anti-ideology. They don't have a common ideology, but they share an antipathy to Western liberal values. But these events are putting some of that to the test. And so we'll see.
