I don't even teach an art school anyway, it depresses me. I've got nothing to say to these kids that have bullied themselves into making these awful things That they are assuming galleries want to show and that tutors are going to be happy with. The young art world doesn't function like that. It unctions on er on, sort of, how many are they producing? Er? Will they go up an value? Will i be able to swap them for something comparable later on when they do? So the kind of laziness and the grubbing around in the art world, i feel, has sort of short-term changed me.
