Kai Hong asked if study, unsteady and kyces are connected in any way. I am probably going to disappoint you completely, Kai, because the answer is no. But they do have quite interesting stories behind them or some of them do. So this takes us all the way back to the Latin word for a thrush - Turdus. And it's a little bit of a strange story but we think that what happened was that thrashes in Roman vineyards would often feed on grapes that had fermented on the vine and then fall into the ground. In those days you would say drunk as a thrush.
