The Importance of Daily Bible Reading
The idea of daily Bible reading is really new. It's a relatively new concept because people didn't even have their own personal Bibles. You probably could have gone to your synagogue multiple days a week to hear the scriptures read. And so you could have been in the Bible every single day, but there's a key difference. I'm listening to it with my neighbor. That's the context in which I'm hearing scripture and that changes the way that you're interpreting.
