The Pathological Narcissist

The narcissist wants to absorb those good qualities into himself and force the other person to carry all of his bad ones. This is why narcissists abuse. They love it because they hate themselves and they hate you. It has to be someone who cares about them. Hurting strangers just isn't personal enough to give them that feeling that fixes them even for a second. Because of this, they are addicted to it.
