The pledges were already so drunk and it was only a matter of time that they threw up because of the carbonation. The group started mixing hard liquor with beer and just the beer was intentional. According to the fraternity's tradition, if someone passes out at a party they get urinated on. It is likely due to the fact that passing out is seen as weak.
