Symptoms of Overactive Brain Networks

Metabolically compromised cells can be underactive or overactive. Symptoms of psychotic symptoms, anxiety and depression are all because they're metabolically compromised. One way to address those problems is to restore mitochondrial function. But that comes with a risk: If we impair mitochondrial function, we will impair the metabolism of that cell. It won't have enough energy to be quite so hyper-excitable anymore.
