I went out tonight. I had a form. I went to each of them about the fence I was going to build. We walked it. We agreed where the lot line was. We talked about how the construction would impact their property. And then I went back in with their signature and got the permit. That is what the city staff was supposed to have done. Now let's say my neighbor said, you know, this is intolerable. He's not going to agree to my fence. You know, I don't want to go out and have to talk to him. This is when the idea of subsidiarity kicks in. It's really two neighbors deciding where that lot line is
