Having more people get to experience some of these rare plants up close and personal can only be good for their conservation. I thinkk there are perhaps a few exceptions of species that might hyberdize with some non native and wecod have genetic swamping, or where having species out in cultivation could be bad for them. But in general, i'm a big proponent of having rare species available for people to plant in their yards or their institutions or their estates,. if they want to. And usually it's not a legal issue, as long as you have permission to collect.
