There's a difference between speed and serial depth. My feeling is that speed is much less a problem than serial depth. With serial depth, how many consecutive steps can a system do? I think this is very dangerous. And yes, I expect that if you build a Cohen system that includes some component that can self-improve and you allow it to just do that, then yeah, it's not safe. You fucked up."
