When you're not constrained by facts, you can really spin quite the yarn. People have a misunderstanding of what menopause is or how the menstrual cycle works. I think we all have a difficult time parsing risks and the way misinformation and disinformation spreads on social media plays into our uniquely human inability to put risk in perspective. And so there's a lot of hesitancy people stop medications early. There's fear of doing things that we know are helpful.
