The Ideal Calories for Breastfeeding

Rhys: I would love to talk about the ideal calorie goal minimum to aim for while breastfeeding. The lowest calorie meal plan I have is the 1800 to 2000 because I don't think a woman should be a woman rather should be eating under 1800 calories. It takes your body 700 to 900 calories to make 25 to 30 ounces of milk a day. We're not taking into account postpartum recovery sleep deprivation and just kind of like assuming that's okay because you want to lose weight. And, you know, all of us can agree that it's not the best way to think about how much we need to produce a full milk supply.
