i think you have to assume that taking this case is a signal that they are very interested in going back and reconsidering what they apparently tried settle in mc gurd an. I found this really, really shocking. Once upon a time, there was such a thing as a courtesy fifth in a death penalty case. Here, no one was even asking to stay an execution. This was a request by the state to reinstate an execution.
