i think you're right that oftentimes the best pieces of christian art are coming, in some sense, from the outside. I wonder if it's true in other religious traditions. So if we can connect it to this idea that what we are reaching for when we are aiming for transcendent art, is we arereaching for some proof that our lives are not meaningless.
