The traditional Mahamudra instruction is first you're aware of movement and then you're awareof stillness. Then it starts saying, so now just simply rest as that awareness that's aware of both. That in some ways is kind of a simplified version of four foundations of mindfulness. The hope is that from the pure awareness, everything else will be included.
