The Importance of Recognizing God's Mercy
There can be a temptation there to think of oneself as, you know, given the fact that I've persisted in the state of grace. So for conscious of grave sin, we ought not receive Holy Communion. If we are sipping on Starbucks during the homily, we should not be going up to receive Holy communion. And so they tell of God's glory in different ways and different registers and different kind of tonalities.
