"The most important part of our job is conveying those emotions and those stories into music," says composer Anjay Rosman. "We wanted it to be something no one's ever heard before." For this series we wanted to create custom instruments that gave an otherworldly sound escape, he adds. We created instruments out of fossils, petrified wood, dinosaur replica bones and some real bones as well.
