The Existence of the Method

The way in which Descartes came to his conclusions is even more interesting than what he actually said. The energy for speculation, even if he might come up with something that is wrong in some way, is alive and well in his thinking. And when you read his work, the constant clear joy in talking not only about what he's found, but also the way in which he's founded makes him equally interesting.
