The Importance of Informed Consent in Medical Decisions
For the small percent of people who both understand and require that information in order to make a decision, shouldn't we still stick with the current processes for that person? Well, I think what you have to do is essentially try to feel out the patient as you go along. So just to stick with the doctor informed consent version of this, it makes sense to me that for most people, it may not matter.
