The Ukrainians Are Left All Alone in the Collectivization Famine

In 1932, Poland and the Soviet Union sign a mutual non-aggression treaty. It means that the Ukrainians are left all alone in the middle of collectivization. There is no one to whom they can appeal. By December of 1933, it's impossible that Poland is going to come to the aid of Ukraine.
