The two ice sheets covering greenland and antarctica hold 99 point five % all the land ice on the planet. If you got rid of both those ice sheets, you'd raise global sea level by 65 meters. In old money, that's over 200 feet. Even a ten per cent production in their volume would be six meters a seetotherwis. That's unimaginably catastrophic for humanity.
