And the reason I don't know if tapping has this magical thing is basically because brain has most somatosensory real estate for hands and face. If you start tapping your hands and your face together, your brain can't ignore that. It has to bring you into the present moment sensation. Worry is always about the future. So the more you can bring yourself into present moment sensation, the better you're off you're going to be.
