Is the Newsroom Really a Newsroom, or a Corner Office?
Economist Matthew Jensko set out to ask this question. Does the slant really come from the newsroom, or maybe the corner office? Sogensko and sepiro wrote a computer programme that would sort millions of articles from hundreds of newspapers. The program's job was to identify politically partisan phrases. It builds on some work that tim grosclos and jeff milo had done earlier.
