The Tree Cat and the End of the World

I did have this thought that there's a tree cat, like a symbol of a lion. And just like lions, often are in the world wherever they exist. They're often, if not always, the apex predator. And well, their environment no longer supports this apex predator. Westeros doesn't support this martial house defending a border that doesn't exist anymore. His environment is gone. That does fill out the metaphor even more. I like that. Also sticking with that forest, it's really interesting to the, the notion that a lot of it's been cleared away and how that's a, you know, part of the nostalgia.
