Aristotle doesn't think it should be required of the say the rulers in the city or even it shouldn't be an educational goal for everyone to go on and become familiar with. is metaphysics something that all this primary education prepares us for I think Aristotle says you can't can't really do it until you're like 35 years old rightYeah well he's Plato's clear about that that you shouldn't do philosophy and so I think in the Republic you start at 35 and you might end when you're 50 and you know you're really only doing the advanced philosophy around 50 years old for Plato.
