The Importance of Jubilee

One of the verses I came across in preparing for this kind of a cross reference was in Isaiah five where it says, woe to those who join house to house. In other words, kind of railing against what would be some kind of like empire builder. So I think that the idea of Jubilee and everything reverting back to the original owners is meant to catacize Israel by saying you're not building an empire here on earth.
