What's the Future of Fishing?

The scallop industry in new england is a really good example of that, because it was basically most of the beds were closed. And they devised a system of kind of rotating beds, which they've kept up for the last 20 years. There's more of that happening now in terms of surveying ground fish. They are now on board observers on boats to see what is being hauled in and thrown over. Therare electronic monitors, so people can see from shore, what's happening on board. Of course, fishermen don't particularly like either of those systems, but they've been good for the fish.
