The Power of Disappointments

The late great British pastor Charles Spurgeon said that he had so many disappointments in life. He learned to change the first letter of the word, the D, and then chop the word into his appointments. Disappointment can become a way that we deepen faith and trust in God as we're reminded that nothing in our life happens apart from his sovereign hand.
