I watched the white evangelical church of the United States in 2016, and then watched it double down in 2020 as it relates to how our faith impacts our understanding of policy and social good. It felt like we failed in a moment that we needed to be what the kingdom of God is about. And it made me far less hopeful about the white evangelical white cultured evangelical churches in the U.S. So I don't find myself super rara about church. For me, deconstruction is about church, where it's like, I don't I don't know if I think this thing does a lick of good anymore. Not always. But sometimes. Could be very divisive. Mm hmm
