When you read Lewis as a kind of zoned conversion, you'll be able to say, hey, look, he read GK Cheston. He suddenly made Lewis realize the Christian view of history. So there is somebody who is receptive towards a bigger vision of reality. And I suppose that's where imagination plays quite a key part for Lewis, is it? I think it is.Lewis was aware that his reason was offering him a rather dull, a rather bleak account of reality. It's just beyond your reach, that you can stretch out and find it.
