I think that politics is about petty advantage-seeking. That's why petty people are good at politics. And petty people are really good at organizing political campaigns. There's a time and a place for pettyness. I don't think you're going to be able to say, well, it's because they're crazy on social issues or because they've alienated a lot of people with the woke stuff. Those things really still matter. I'm just not sure that they'll be the issue in this election. So hopefully if this is all behind us in 2024, which I rather expect that it will be at least a specific issue of inflation, we'll be having a very, very different conversation
