The French Revolution in 1792
In 1792 the French Revolution was actually a secondary concern for most of the major powers. Poland's disintegrating central government created a massive power vacuum in Eastern Europe. Prussia, Austria and Russia stepped into the vacuum to seize Polish territory. This has gone down in history as the second partition of Poland.
